Garin Heslop

Garin Heslop is a builder. He sees problems and builds solutions to them. He only spends his time on the ones he truly believes in. Raised by his single father, he learned to work for what he had before he learned what he wanted; the operating instinct started young, the purpose came later. He went into real estate at nineteen and was a self-made millionaire by twenty-one. The company ran end-to-end across land development, new construction and residential resale; he guided builders and developers through the entire process, from raw land to a buyer holding the keys, with a team behind him.

At twenty-four, a near-fatal motorcycle accident cut that company short. His own recovery from it showed him the trap waiting on the other side of pain: an opioid epidemic hollowing out his community with no safe natural alternative. So he built one. Medcare Farms grew into a vertically integrated cannabis operation, spanning cultivation, distribution, retail and delivery, that crossed $14 million a year and more than a hundred employees. At its peak it ranked among the top ten cannabis retailers in California and the top twenty CPG brands in the state, solving the two problems his recovery had named: awareness of natural medicine as a better alternative, and safe access to it.

Then 2022 ended the second company for reasons outside it. He was leading more than a hundred employees through the back half of a pandemic when an eight-month stretch took his father, his grandmother, his marriage, and the business that depended on all of them. He had built and rebuilt past $40 million in cumulative revenue across two companies, and learned, twice, that the operator is the company's most fragile asset. The companies were healthy. Life was not. It almost ended him.

What he was reborn into wasn't another business. It was a mission. GYNERGY is the third, but for the first time it didn't come from spotting a problem in the world. It came from putting himself back together. He co-founded it with Yesi Magaña in 2023, on a morning that didn't owe him a third chance. It rests on a framework he had started drawing the winter before, after most of his life had been packed away, one column for every part of his life that still owed him work. Health. Relationships. Mindset. Wealth. Legacy.

Most of the last year Garin has spent on the technology underneath: GYNERGY.AI and ARIA, the AI coaching infrastructure he built on a single observation. Frameworks don't change anyone's life when there's no operating system around them. Two hundred-plus leaders coached so far. The mission is larger than the company. By 2035: a thousand homes built for families in need, a hundred learning centers, a million lives moved. Most coaches teach what they've read.
